Yough Hall is north of Hamlin Plantation, one quarter mile from Highway 17 North , this community of custom homes is quaint. The community has a community pond that several home sites overlook. The Mount Pleasant Recreation Center with indoor pool is just a short ride away. Most homes are four bedrooms or larger and range in size from 2537 to 3406. If you are looking for a custom built home on a large lot, this is the subdivision for you. These homes are close to Historic Charleston. Zip Code: 29466
Toward the north part of Mt. Pleasant is YOUGH HALL. There are a ton of areas for shopping and dining. Oakland Plantation is right up the road. While this area looks pretty rural, you are very close to Hwy. 17 which runs through the middle of Mt. Pleasant. Yough Hall came out of the ground around 2000. There are not many home sites here, but we are chronicling every neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant. There are 13 homes and there are no amenities in YOUGH HALL. The homes are on bigger lots, one half acre to three quarters of an acre. I (Bob) like YOUGH HALL, the architecture is very nice, there is green space and you will find it’s a good location, as I mentioned…..close to Oakland Plantation and the Isle of Palms, but from a resale standpoint, if buying a home, it might be best to focus on a neighborhood that had amenities. There are certain folks who are fine with out any amenities, because your home owners association fees would be lower.
