Ion Real Estate

ION Real Estate

Ion is a beautiful newly built neighborhood in the heart of Mount Pleasant. The homes in Ion are fashioned after the historic homes found throughout the City of Charleston. Built by 21 different approved builders, these homes are built to last just as the historic homes that they are modeled after. The porches on the homes are 8 feet deep or more offering a space for outdoor living.

The neighborhood itself sits along beautiful creeks and marshes. The Ion Club offers great amenities for the community with many activities to choose from including tennis, swimming and kids camps, to name a few. There is also a gorgeous building known as the Creek Club is set back on Hobcaw Creek which is great for conferences and social gatherings. It features beautiful wrap around porches and two huge fireplaces. Ion Square is another wonderful addition for residents of the neighborhood as it is a great place for outdoor picnics and gatherings. The Square often hosts Lowcountry style festivals and farmers markets.

One local hiker took the stroll through the neighborhood and had this to say about the neighborhood, This is a beautiful walk. There are great marsh views, lakes, native plants, wildlife, and a rookery with bird nesting area. What makes this walk so interesting is that it combines nature, architecture, history, and a beautiful new old-fashioned community. There are plenty of places to stop and rest comfortably along the way and enjoy the view. There are also very good places to get something to eat on the square where the walk begins and ends. I definitely recommend it.

If you would like a complimentary tour of Ion in Mt. Pleasant, SC please contact Bob.

"My wife and I bought back there and used Bob to find the home. We liked this area because of its great proximity to downtown Charleston."
