Remington Forest

A Charlotte company (Remington Forest LLC) purchased the complex, renovated, and began selling the 124 units as townhomes. They range in size from 1100 to 1300 square feet. There are 10 two-story town homes and 52 three bedroom town homes. Although called townhomes, in my opinion these units are duplexes as there are two units per building and they share a common wall. Some of the units have a master bedroom on the first floor which is a feature a lot of buyers are looking for. The town homes have large backyards with mature trees, sodded front yards, smooth ceilings, fireplaces, granite countertops, crown molding, and 2-inch wood blinds. There are not specific reserved parking places for homeowners but there are a total of 143 parking spots available. There is a community pool, small pond, and playground area. The subdivision is located off of Rifle Range, near Ben Sawyer Boulevard.

From PHILLIPS PARK we’re going to go into REMINGTON FOREST. And REMINGTON FOREST is another one of those apartment complexes or was an apartment complex when I moved to Mt. Pleasant years ago and it was turned into condominiums during the boom in 2006. These were completely redone, so they weren’t condo’d off like I mentioned in other videos. Sometimes you get the condominiums and they just sell them off. They need a ton of work. These were actually bought and they did a bunch of work to them at that time. So these are pretty good shape. The regime which is….a regime is basically, you’re paying in group with other people, for insurance, for common area up keep, etc. It’s in pretty good shape the last time I checked on this. These do not have garages so you’re going to have parking. These again we’re apartments at one time so kind of the way it was set up. These units do not have garages. The price point on these, you know you get a two bedroom unit at the shooting of this video for around $170,000. They do have a small pool back here. which again, you know with it being an apartment complex years ago, that was what they did with apartment complexes. Not a very big pool. I don’t think you’re going to swim laps in it, but cool off in the heat of the summer. You’ve got a small playground area. People that want to be in Mt. Pleasant, but can’t afford to buy something in Mt. Pleasant or don’t want to pay over the top rent. These rent for probably $1,500 to $1,700 a month which I guess is expensive but not compared to some other things in Mt. Pleasant. So you’re about 4 minutes from Sullivan’s Island and about the same distance to interstate 526. For more information, please contact bob@charlestonproperty.net.
