Center Lake is a relatively small subdivision. Center Lake property owners are allowed to use the neighboring subdivisions (Hidden Lakes) amenities which include a swimming pool, tennis courts, club house and boat storage. Select homes in Center Lake back up to a nice pond or have wooded backyards.
All right guys, so we’re coming off of Rifle Range Road and we’re going into a small neighborhood called CENTER LAKES. CENTER LAKES is a small community of about 75 homes built between 1992 and 1996. As you can see, as we ride through, they’ve got some good trees, fairly mature landscapes. The homes back here range in square footage from 1400 to 2300 square feet. One of the advantages of this neighborhood is the proximity to everything. You can be on the Isle of Palms and the beach in 5 minutes. You can be at the Town Centre in the same amount of time and you’re also able to access all the shops in SEASIDE FARMS. A really good location and I would say that on a bad traffic day, you’re probably looking at about 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. So we’re not talking about a big drive to get to a lot things. Again, the houses, pretty common to the period they were built. A lot of brick fronted houses. Some newer houses back here that would have hardi-plank, but for the most part, these would all be brick fronts. They have a community clubhouse and they have a paddling and sailing lake. Kind of see as we go over the canals and you can see out to the lake to the right. Lot of times, people want waterfront property in Mt. Pleasant and you don’t want to stay in a $500K price point, this would be a good location. CENTER LAKES is a place that I would recommend. It’s affordable and some of the houses have been redone recently. So you’re not going to find, even in the houses that were built in the, you know, early ’90’s…you’re still going to find stuff that, in some cases, updated to modern day standards.
