Some properties back up to the lake or lagoon. The subdivision resides next door to the exclusive gated Ravens Run community.

Properties in Crown Pointe were mainly built by Ryland Homes (national home builder) and range in size fro 1830 to 2950 square feet and were built from 1987 to 1992. Most homes have vinyl siding.
