When you drive into the Commonwealth subdivision, you
will feel as if you are in the country although you are only minutes from the Oakland Plantation shops and just down the street from Wando High School. Homes reside on larger lots and select properties back up to Alston Creek which flows into the Wando River.
The subdivision has a play park, boat ramp, picnic/playground area, tennis court, and private dock for homeowners enjoyment.
