Back Bay Village

Located off of Rifle Range Road, tucked behind Mount Pleasants Waterworks, is a quaint custom home community called Back Bay.

This hidden community of 57 home sites has three ponds as well as sidewalks, street lights and walking paths. Lots are approximately 1/3 acre or more and several home sites have impressive marsh views.

Ed Goldberg of Atlanta developed the community and wanted it to be reminiscent of what a neighborhood in the South should be with big porches, sidewalks on both sides of the street, and walking trails.

The majority of the homes built are elevated on posts with drive-under garages. The homes range in size from 2450 to 4800 square feet and have either brick, cement fiberboard or stucco exteriors. Back Bay Village is a small community with impressive homes with a grand feel. Source: Bob Lang with the Post and Courier 8/25/01
